Dominique Palmé
 
Dominique Palmé completed her masters in comparative literature at the University of Paris Ⅲ in 1969. She started her career as an interpreter and translator of Japanese in 1979. From 1986 she began translating mainly contemporary Japanese literature. She has published over twenty titles, including works by authors such as Natsuki Ikezawa, Yukio Mishima, Banana Yoshimoto, and Yasushi Inoue. For JLPP she has translated Ohan by Chiyo Uno, and Reading Modern Japanese Poetry 101 edited by Makoto Ooka.
