Bruno Rhyner
 
Bruno Rhyner, born in 1956 in Switzerland, studied Japanese, Psychology and Chinese. His dissertation was on Morita Psychotherapy and Zen Buddhism. He lectured for twenty years on Japanese Psychology and Education at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies at the University of Zurich. He translated Minako Oba's novel Katachi mo naku, which became a long selling bestseller, and Kiyohiro Miura's novel Chonan no shukke.
