Wolfgang Höhn, born in Southern Germany, taught German in Japan, Germany, Iran and China. In 1973 he got the Japanese translator's diploma in Bonn, and since 1985 he has been working as an editor and a translator for various publishers in Germany and Switzerland. Höhn started working with Mariko Sakai as an editor and a translator from Japanese into German.
