Inan Oener
 
Tokyo based poet, filmmaker, art curator and translator Inan Oener gained a first class degree in the Japanese Language and Literature at Ankara University Faculty of Letters in 1994. He moved to Japan in 1996 to further studies on Japanese literature. Since he received his MA at the University of Tokyo Graduate School, he has been actively translating modern poetry from Turkish to Japanese, and vice versa. He has co-translated Kojin Karatani's Origins of Modern Japanese Literature with his colleague Devrim C. Güven.
