Christopher Belton, born in London in 1955, is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, and a Japanese/English translator. Turning freelance in1991, Belton has had close to 50 books published as an author, more than 70 as a translator. His published novels include Nowhere to Run, Isolation, and Crime Sans Frontieres. His translated works are mainly non-fiction on art, design, architecture and Japanese culture.
