Asa-Bettina Wuthenow
 
Born in 1960, Asa-Bettina Wuthenow studied Japanology in the University of Heidelberg and got PhD in the study of Kazuo Hirotsu. She started her carrier as a teacher in the University of Heidelberg and a high school, and now is teaching in the University of Mainz. Wuthenow translated the works of Hirotsu, as well as Sakutaro Hagiwara, Riichi Yokomitsu and others.
