Elena Tutatchikova, born in 1984, entered the Moscow University of Foreign Languages, and moved to the Russian State University for the Humanities in order to study the Oriental culture. She translated the works of Yasunari Kawabata, Soseki Natsume, and Kaori Ekuni. She translated Reading Modern Japanese Poetry 101 for JLPP.
