Ko Machida
 
Ko Machida (1962-) is a punk singer, poet, actor, and novelist from Osaka. As a high school student he set up the punk band. "Inu" in which he was the singer. He also became active as an actor. He appeared in the 1982 movie Bakuretsu toshi Burst City (Burst City), directed by Sogo Ishii, and others. He debuted as a poet with Kyoka (Offering Flowers)in 1992, and as a novelist with Kussun daikoku(Kussun Daikoku) in 1996. In 2000, he won the Akutagawa Prize for Kiregire (Choppy).
