Soji Shimada
 
Soji Shimada (1948~) was born in Hiroshima. After graduating from Musashino Art University, he experienced a few professions, such as writer and musician, and made his debut with Senseijutsu Satsujin Jiken (The Tokyo Zodiac Murders), which was shortlisted for Edogawa Ranpo Prize, in 1981. Since then, he published hit series such as ‘Detective Kiyoshi Mitarai Series' and ‘Detective Takeshi Yoshiki Series' and established his position as a mystery writer. He has been active on finding new talented writers.
